Zach McKeehan led us in the 4-H Pledge. The American Pledge was led by Gavi Walker. We talked about having another fundraiser but we decided to discuss the details at the next meeting. We had so much fun at the Shirley Home for our last community service project, that we are thinking of doing it again. Our 4-H picnic this year will be held in July. the perfect month to have a picnic don't you think? Clean up is going to be held July 31st. On September 18, we are showing other kids the joy of being in 4-H at the McClure Bean Soup Festival. Our group is so excited to do this because everyone knows the thrill of when they first partidpated in a show and joined a club who enjoyed the same things they do. I know I would like nothing more than to help another kid feel the same feeling I had when I first joined. Who knows, maybe people who are not thinking about it will be inspired and join. Anyway, we have decided to have soup sale in the fall. When the meeting ended, Gavi adjourned the meeting and Kody Harshberger seconded it.
