SOUTHERN PRIDE 4-H YEARLY FALL FUNDRAISER

During the Southern Pride 4-H meeting on November 1, 2011 the club made ham sandwiches. Our club sold just over our goal of 1,000 sandwiches and the club assembled these sandwiches in 1 hour. We couldn't have accomplished this in so little time without the help of the parents and Shannon and Lori Cramer, who organized and planned the fundraiser. We would also like to thank John and Jennifer Goshorn for making arrangments to use Parish Hall at St. Mary's Catholic Church for assembly. Proceeds from this fundraiser sale will be used in our 2012 club activity schedule for things like our Adopt-A-Highway, activities, field trips and parades. It will also be used for some livestock equipment that our club needs to invest in, such as a set of guards that will be used to clip swine and large fans to use in the Dairy Beef barn. The club will be participating in Community projects that may also need finances.
