On January 19, 2011 the 4H Beef Club held their monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. At the Extension Office. Hayden Kramer led the American pledge and Brooke Emery led the 4H pledge. Allie Miller read the secretary's report. Our treasurer wasn't there so there was no treasurer report. President Kelsey Dysard brought up community service project. A committee was formed. The members are Austin Harnish, Jordan Harnish, Allie Miller, Brooke Emery, Kelsey Dysard. The committee will be early to the next meeting to discuss their community service project. Under New Business the club discussed Farm Show and if anyone attended. 4-H Camp counselors are wanted; ages 15 and up. 4-H week is March 13-19. 4-H'ers are encouraged to promote Huntingdon County 4-H. The news reporter will be writing a short article to put in the paper. On January 30th at 2:00 will be the Lady Lions 4-H Game. Tickets are free at the Extension Office but supplies are limited. The club will be giving a donation for 5 years to the 4-H Endowment Fund. The club fundraiser will be ham and cheese sandwiches. There was a presentation done by Scott Brown. The meeting was adjourned by Brooke Emery and second by Austin Harnish. The next meeting will be February 16th at 7:30 p.m. In the Extension Office.
