Southern Pride 4-H Club
The Southern Pride 4-H Club held their regular monthly meeting on February 2nd at 6:30 p.m. in the community room at Community State Bank of Orbisonia. President Libby Sarra called the meeting to order. Pledges were led by Catherine Anderson and Derrick Cramer. Secretary Liz Scott took roll call and read the secretary's report from the January meeting. Treasurer Keith Anderson red the Treasurer's report. Motions to approve the reports were made by Derrick Cramer and Catherine Anderson. Carrie Anderson introduced new members of the club: Brandon Beam, Kolton Gaff, and Mason Parks. Under old business: Kevin Detwiler drove the club to the Farm Show. The club had a total of 32 members attend, and everyone had a good time. Under new businesss: The club will be having a bowling party in Mill Creek from 4:30 until 6:30 p.m. Fundraiser information is now available and to be turned back in at the March meeting. On February 27th, at Juniata College there will be an officer and leader training. The club talked about a camping trip in September. Project books were handed out and discussed having special project/livestock meetings on Saturday or Sundays to help everyone work on their projects. Project leaders will set dates and get with members to work on this. Next in the meeting, Derrick Cramer introduced our guest speaker Christine Corl. She then spoke to the club about registration online, project books and the Endowment Fund. The club voted to give a $500.000 pledge staring witha $100 payment to the Endowment Fund. Derrick Cramer had a game for Valentines Day. Snack was provided by the Cramer and Gartland families. President Libby Sara adjourned the meeting and motions to approve were made by Curtis Starr and Dane Woodward. The next meeting will be held on March 2nd at 6:30 p.m. in the community room at Community State Bank of Orbisonia. New members are welcome.

Shirley Variety Pak 4-H Club
Kendra Semple led us in the 4-H pledge. Miranda Coleman led us in the American Pledge. Valerie Coleman called the meeting to order. The treasurer's report was given and Zach McKeehan motioned to accept the report and it was seconded by Danielle Varner. In the secretary's report, in old business, we decided not to do something for Christmas. Beef weigh-ins were November 21st. In new business, our community service project is undecided. Sam McKeehan received the Friend of 4-H Award. We decided to have glow bowling for our club. February 7th at 1 p.m. the Lady Lions will be playing at the Bryce Jordan Center. If you call the Extension Office, you can have free tickets! Enrollment forms can now be filled out online at Huntingdon.extension.psu.edu. Zach McKeehan motioned to adjourn the meeting and Gavi Walker seconded the motion
